The passengers on an American Airlines plane were amazed when suddenly a miniature horse went on board. It wasn’t an error. Because the animal had official permission to travel in the passenger cabin.

Flirty is the name of the mini horse that lives up to its name and recently delighted both passengers and employees on an American Airlines plane.
Numerous pictures are currently circulating from Flirty on board the machine. Among other things, his owner also shared photos on Instagram. The mini horse can even be seen with the crew in a snapshot. The owner wrote in the comment: “They were friendly and excited to receive Flirty!” Even the pilots came out of the cockpit to greet the animal.
There is a reason why the woman was allowed to take Flirty on board: The mini horse is an assistance animal and helps its owner against panic attacks.
The animal passenger was obviously not a problem for the airline. According to American Airline policy, service animals are allowed to fly in the passenger cabin as long as they are trained.
As a rule, however, assistance animals are cats or dogs – a mini horse on the plane should therefore have been quite unusual.
