The American pikas sit on their stones and seem to be preparing their next cry in concentration. It doesn’t actually sound like a whistle, more like a sweet squeak. Pikas live mainly in the western United States and southwestern Canada, where they make the area unsafe with their funny noises. The cuties are only active during the day and are true sun worshipers, as the little animals in the video prove. When they are not looking for food, the bunny rabbits often sit for hours on their favorite rocks in their sometimes hundreds of square meter territories and “whistle” their luck out into the vastness of nature. Delicious!
