Sea turtle rescued by Newfoundland dog

The sea turtle in the video was very lucky. She probably owes the fact that she is still alive to a very special rescuer: Weda, the Newfoundland dog, who found the stranded turtle.
It was a Monday morning on Ellisville Beach in Plymouth, USA. Veda, the two-year-old Newfoundland dog who weighs a whopping 55 kilograms, found the sea turtle in the sand. The bitch immediately ran back to her owners, Leah and Brad Bares, and barked. Veda immediately understood that something was wrong with the armored beast and behaved in an exemplary manner. The turtle is doing well today – being fed at the New England Aquarium and as you can see is already swimming happily around the tank. Have a nice happy ending!
