Otters are excellent at navigating wild terrain. The otter mom in the video has her cub with her and starts a spectacular tour through Yellowstone National Park, which also includes a hungry coyote.
First, the otter mom has planned a fun and practical slide for herself and her cub. Snow is also ideal for this, she thinks, and the two make their way between fir trees and hills by simply sliding down on their well-oiled bellies. The destination is the river where there are fish to hunt. But a hungry coyote is also at the water and has it in for the two otters. However, he was not successful because the animals, also known as water martens, are simply too good swimmers and the cold river in winter is really not for the coyote.
