How do animals react to their reflection in the mirror?

How do jungle animals actually react when they discover their own reflection? This has been extensively tested in this interesting video and the results are beautiful and exciting to watch.
A mirror in the middle of nature – you don’t see that every day. French photographer Xavier Hubert-Brierre set it up in a central African forest area for some nice shots to capture the reactions of the animals walking by, and they did a really good job.
Whether leopard, monkey or elephant: None of the forest dwellers can avoid a look in the mirror and the reactions of the animals are sometimes interested, sometimes frightened, sometimes playful. Above all, the monkeys approach the unusual object with a lot of curiosity and interest – you could watch that for hours, right?
