Hats that prevent cheating in the Philippines are weird! Social media is talking about these images

PhilippinesIn , Bicol University Faculty of Engineering students were asked to wear a hat that would prevent them from looking at other people’s papers. Many students made handmade hats from cardboard, egg boxes and other recycled materials and wore them throughout the exam.

“THE FIRST REQUEST IS SIMPLE HAT”

Professor Mary Joy Mandane-Ortiz, who came up with the idea for the hat, said the method was effective and fun. The professor stated that his first request was for the students to make a simple design out of paper, and the students took this idea and made complex hats from different materials they found around in 5 minutes.

After Ortiz posted them on his social media account, helmets, cardboard bags, egg cups and hats went viral on social media. It was noted that hats that prevent cheating were used for the last midterm exams that hundreds of students took, and that no student cheated this year.
