The echidna in this video is actually a pretty quiet fellow. But the little animal can also make slightly louder noises, especially when it tickles its nose.
“Hello, I’m an echidna. How are you?” Little Mathilda seems to want to say and looks sweetly into the camera with her faithful little eyes. Shortly thereafter, she proves that she can not only be cute and cuddly, but also a little louder: While she is relaxing on the shoes of her zoo keeper Amie, the little animal apparently catches a smell or a dust particle.
“Hatschi!” suddenly sounds from the echidna, who has to vent his itch. The supervisor probably did not expect this loud noise. Apparently Mathilda likes to throw a little surprise every now and then.
